Reality Check

The price of fame! She also didn’t count on ‘the new guy in town’ cracking onto her on camera and various male randoms turning up in town after seeing her on the show. Because she no longer wants the fame, she just wants Dylan. She’s about to get one huge reality check.

Story Inspiration
When I was a teenager, my favourite band was Moving Pictures. Here I am ,aged 17, with Alex Smith, lead singer of the band, after a free outdoor concert at Birkenhead Point.
And 21 years later...
A Moving Pictures reunion of sorts. An acoustic tour of the East Coast of Australia, which included a gig at Coffs Harbour. After the gig, I once again had a picture taken with Alex, with no reference to the first pic. (If I'd been prepared, I could have printed the first photo and asked him so sign it). But the first pic and the second pic are eerily similar though taken 21 years apart. Being at the gig made me feel 17 again, so when I started writing I'm with the Band, that's the feeling I wanted to capture.
